Can you see the message that Jesus is trying to make here? If not, read the verses again…
Which of the stories or being lost and found relates more to you and why?
Have you ever lost something and would do anything to get it back?
Imagine if you went missing, how do you think your parents would feel?
God created us to be with Him. If people don’t know Him then they can be known as ‘the missing’ in this scenario.
In what ways do you think God has come looking for us?
In what way do we keeping touch with God?
How does it feel to know that believing in Jesus makes you saved? AND how does it feel knowing that every time someone is found, there is a PARTY in heaven?
I want to be party of that party!!!
Pray to God now, and thank Him, that He never gives up on you and He will never stop searching for you.

With father’s day being NEXT SUNDAY, create a card now for God, saying thank you….
Then, during this week, create a Father’s day card for your dad. It can be simple pictures, it can be a pop up, it have attachments…there are so many possibilities. Look at pinterest, google images, do something special for your dad, and prepare it early, don’t wait til Saturday night.
And on the day…make him breakfast in bed, show him you care! Because he cares a lot for you.

What is it to be lonely and afraid?
Have you ever felt like lonely, and no one understands? Write it down.
Read Psalm 23 v 4 and the Footprints poem
God is with us wherever we are, no matter how lonely, or scared we feel. As Christians we shouldn’t feel lonely and have no hope, but sometimes we do.
How can we feel God’s presence? Have you ever tried to rely on God?
WE have a hope as Christians because we have God in control…but think about those people who don’t have that hope…how lonely must they feel.
Take some time and pray for the following:
When you have felt lonely and understood
For those you know who don’t have that hope in God.
For courage to tell people about God, and give them hope.

Is hate the same as dislike?
Should a Christian ‘hate’?
What does the bible tell us about love?
Have you ever been in a situation where something small turned into a really big pointless argument? Think about how that situation could have been better?
Which of the verses spoke to you the most and why?
1 Peter 4:8 was very similar to another verse…why do you think this is so? Is it a quote?
Write down things that you love and pray for them, being thankful for every one of them. Pray that things that you dislike improve, that you can deal with them more lovingly…change your outlook.

Take a moment now with your thoughts, and the answers you have written down. Bring them to God; whether it is a Hope, a Fear, or just a clarification. Speak to God about the destiny he has for you. Thank God that He has a future for you and that Jesus’ destiny was to save you.

What do you believe to be the Holy Spirit? … Take some time now to find a website or Youtube video explaining the Holy Spirit.
Sam said that “the Holy Spirit is all around us”…1 Corinthians 3 v 16 say “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you”. Does this mean that The Holy Spirit is around us AND in us?
- How can we know the Holy Spirit is inside us?
- How can we use the Power of the Holy Spirit in our lives?

Just before I finished the questions, I came across this passage from Newsrings online. Read this and reflect on the words they are trying to say:
“As children of God we literally possess the Spirit of God inside of us….
He has been given to us so that we can know who God is and know how to follow Him. Often He will speak to us in our minds by giving us a thought or an idea. Or He will lead us by making an impression upon our heart to say something, do something, or think something according to His will. It’s important to recognize that the Holy Spirit will never speak anything to us that doesn’t align with scripture. If it conflicts with anything in the Bible, then it is not from the Spirit of God.
Like Jesus said, the Spirit will be with us forever. Therefore as Children of God we can have confidence that He will never leave us or let us down as we choose to follow Him all our days.”
